I put an 8 ounce container of sour cream in it too. It’s delish.
Have you ever tried using a Kitchenaid mixer’s whisk attachment to get it to the right consistency? I have issues with my right hand after breaking my wrist last year.
I always add 8 oz softened cream cheese I could eat the dip right off the spoon
Add a tiny splash of Almond Extract…it takes it to a whole new level of creamy goodness.
I add juice of half a lemon with mine. in the fall I will add just a bit of caramel ice cream topping for a nice caramel apple dip!
I add either a little bit of orange or lemon juice to it… you can also use regular cream cheese… just let it soften at room temperature first before mixing. It’s great using Strawberry cream cheese too! =)
i always add 1 rounded tablespoon of frozen orange juice concentrate.
My Grandma was the one who started making this in our family. She’d add a little splash of vanilla and we just use regular cream cheese (not the whipped). I prefer to use my regular mixer when making this…so much easier and faster than mixing by hand. 🙂

I make this using my mom’s recipe … the only difference, she adds a couple Tbsp. of strawberry preserves. Scrumpdillyicious! Also, if you don’t have the whipped cream cheese, whip it yourself before adding the other ingredients. Works the same for tub icing. I empty it into a mixing bowl & whip it with my mixer. It makes it lighter & it goes further.

I am looking for your orange dreamsicle dip recipe.
I have always just used regular cream cheese (softened of course). I make it for every party we have and I always get compliments on it and when I tell them whats in it, they are amazed. I also use the whole container of marshmallow fluff and the 8 oz package of cream cheese… still super delicious.
I love this dip! To add a little extra, add some sugar free lemon jello. We like it best this way. Yummy!

I have the same mixer! Lol. I make this recipe with 1-2 tbl maraschino cherry juice and 4 chopped cherries!
